Spur Stor

We received a fun email from Spur Stor last week, a shop specializing in theater project posters. My oh my, are these super fun.
My favorite? “Walk a Mile in My Drawers.”

Company is a superstar design firm based in London who has an amazing collection of work in their portfolio. I’m such a sucker for color and I absolutely love how they utilize it…really brings out the personality in each project.

We posted this art history poster over on Design Milk, but also thought it would fit perfectly right over here. It features artists’ names and what they “own.” If you could add an artist who would you add and what do they “own”? What would YOU own?

I just love this design from artist/designer Andrew Hoffman, which charts a day in his life.

I always enjoy looking at a student portfolio. Here’s one to share with you guys. Check out the work of Jack Butcher who will be graduating soon from the Cardiff School of Art and Design.

This poster by Beau Monroe made me laugh.

theonlyshape is a non-profit independent magazine committed to showcasing creativity. Each issue accepts submissions on a theme from its creative contributors from around the globe.
The first issue, on the theme of “beginnings” has just been released. As well as featuring interviews with Emilio Garcia and Sam Octigan, it also features an exclusive mp3 download from folk singer Penny Burns.

I have fallen in love with the type, illustration and design work by Jessica Hische.

“All You Need” is a new print by Rafa Jenn released for Valentine’s Day. Is it silly to say that I love it?

I just posted this over on Dog Milk. It’s a brand new print by Victoria Smith of SFGirlByBay (if you don’t know her by her blog, you might know as the Keep Calm and Carry On lady).
