Architectural designer Karen O’Leary turned the familiar map image of New York City into a beautiful piece of art by taking away the unnecessary such as symbols, words, and colors. She cut the lines by hand to show the city in a simplified and intriguing light. New York natives who observe this piece would probably enjoy identifying streets, destinations, and neighborhoods.
