I just finished reading Look Both Ways by Debbie Millman cover to cover and I must say it was a delightful read. The book is a beautiful collection of designed essays about her passion for graphic design, art, love, brands, music, life, and Levi’s.

PinkGhost has released these adorable hardcover, round-cornered books including ten artist-designed postcards, one hundred lined pages and one hundred and fifty sketch pages. The artists Julie West, Helena Garcia and 64 Colors have created beautiful art for these cute, round, and chubby products that would be the perfect place for written notes and sketches.

Abigail folds photographs. Insanity!

In case you thought that you’ve had enough of the Obama campaign, the people from Post Press are taking that thought and ripping it to shreds by coming out with a book of art and design from the Obama campaign. This self-published effort is a mash-up of works that might have caught the attention of even the most politically-apathetic people. It’s going to need as much Obama-esque fund-raising support it can get, so monetary donations are welcome and if you purchase the book, you can wrap yourself in the comfy thought that you made a contribution to the art populace since a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to a charity supporting the arts in schools and communities. For history and art buffs, you know you can’t resist a collective of art from that first time the United States elected an African-American president.

Came across this illustration while I was checking out Guillaumit’s portfolio. It made me giggle and say eew at the same time. He has a new book out, ABC des verbes, with some illustrations that will definitely make you chuckle.
