Clements Behr’s new show, Black White Everything (and Me), will be at ROJO®artspace Barcelona starting on March 16, 2010.
For the show he will do an “cut during assembly” installation for the Rojo Art Space Barcelona. Using the existing colors of the gallery’s visual appearance — black walls, white light, wooden ground and a red grid — he decided only to work with those colors, wood and anything else he can find during his stay in Barcelona. Not knowing what materials he will find when in Barcelona is part of the appeal and excitement of Behr’s spontaneous, process-orientated installation.
What: Clements Behr, Black White Everything (and Me)
When: March 16, 2020 – April 30, 2010
Where: ROJO®artspace Barcelona, Carrer Girona 61. 08009 Barcelona, Spain

His paintings stole our hearts a year ago on Art Milk, and Andre Azevedo is back with some amazing graphic work.

We spotted this mad tapestry over at ArtKrush and were instantly mesmerized. Created by Venezuelan artist Jaime Gili and entitled “Zelada,” the tapestry is created with wool, silk and artificial silk. Beautiful!

A-Frames mixed media collage from Stephanie Davidson.

Commissioned piece for 405 band by Middle Boop. Awesome!

“Chosen” from Daniel Everett. 2009.

Tilman Faelker’s recent illustration for a major German broadcast station. The brief was to create a more abstract piece that deals with (classical) music in general. Yummy.

Brilliant installation from Belinda Chen:
Form If You Will refers to the dilemmas we are facing with the earths’ climate. It questions the need for human intervention in the future of weather control. It is a predicament that our desire to control the weather in order to salvage the affects of increased climate disasters contradicts with our need to conserve and protect it.

Daniel Diggle’s mostly awesome b/c of his name, but his work’s pretty good, too. I suppose.

Can you even handle the awesomeness of Clemens Behr? Me neither.
